Absolutely! The Bose L1 Pro16 is no ordinary party speaker hire system - not only is it loud as hell, but its unique design creates a full 180 degrees of coverage. It’s ideal for placing top centre of your dancefloor to easily fill the entire space with huge sound. We say it’s suitable for up to 80 guests as a general guide, but in more enclosed spaces with lower ceilings, it can easily handle more.
is your party speaker hire setup really better than a spotify playlist?
Definitely. You really can’t underestimate how much energy on the dancefloor is lost by having no smooth transitions between songs as they just lazily play out to the bitter end.
People get what they want out of most songs in a minute or two, and for the rest of it, they’re just waiting for the next song to start.

A Spotify playlist is just the easiest way for you guys to compile a request list and send it to us. Your dancefloor mixtape will not be a spotify list!

We’re not pretending a live DJ isn’t the ideal option - if that’s still in your budget, drop us a line at The Wedding Host.
But unfortunately, the wedding space has recently been flooded with many all the gear and no idea cheap DJ’s.
Their setup is fine and they’ve got the music, but don’t know how to actually mix it together.
What these DJ’s do is only slightly better than skipping to a new spotify track every couple of minutes - they just aren’t worth the money.
Our personalised mixtapes are recorded by a DJ with well over a decade of experience and hundreds of weddings under his belt - it’s gonna sound way better than a cheap DJ who’s learning on the job!
how easy is your party speaker hire to set up?
It’s so easy a child could do it. You run power to the base unit (subwoofer) then click the rest of the speakers into it.
The supplied android tablet connects to the unit via bluetooth, and the lights simply need to be placed where you’d like them (we’ll advise where), and activated with the supplied remote.
The wireless microphone also connects directly to the Bose’s base unit. We’ll show you how when you pick it up!
can i use your party speaker hire for a house party?
For sure! While this was all inspired by our experience in the wedding game, it’s also an ideal setup for a house party. There’s no change in the process required, just choose your tunes, and book your system in, and party on!
what if i want a custom dj mixtape longer than 3 hours?
That’s no problem - just add extra hours as required. You can find this option below the soundsystem item above.
there’s a music style i want that isn’t listed…
No problem! That’s where your individual requests come in handy. Add specific songs you want to your requests Spotify playlist, and we’ll make sure they’re included in your party speaker hire mixtape.
what about music for earlier in the night, before the dancefloor kicks off?
This is where a Spotify playlist actually does do the job just fine. We recommend compiling a playlist of more chilled out music you like for the early part of your wedding reception or party (for around 6 to 9PM). You can email us the link to this list, and we’ll make sure it’s loaded onto your speaker system android tablet.
Once it’s time to dance, you can stop the playlist and start your custom mixtape to kick off the party!

We are currently a pickup-only operation, and once you see how easy it is to set up, you’d never dream of paying someone else to do it.
